Please plan to join us at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center for the 2008 South Carolina Emergency Care Symposium in Myrtle Beach April 16 through April 19, 2008.

Each year the Conference hosts a variety of seminars and workshops attracting medical personnel from the Southeast. With an expected attendance of over 600, this would be an excellent opportunity to exhibit your products and services.

For your convenience, the Exhibit Hall will open Thursday, April 17 at 11:00 am for your booth set-up. No traffic will be permitted during this time from the registrants to allow ample time for vendor registration and display completion. A vendor registration package with space assignment and other information will be sent to you upon payment of your space reservation.

The Wine and Cheese reception is the initial assembly of vendors and their prospective clients. This will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2008 in the Exhibit Hall from 5:00 until 7:00 pm. This event will be flooded with personnel looking for new and innovative products, bargains and promotional items such as pencils, cups, koozies, candy, etc.

The Exhibit Hall will reopen on Friday from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. and Saturday from 9:00 am until 2:30 pm. As an added advantage for the vendors, all of the breaks will be located in the Exhibit Hall during the classroom hours to insure a consistent traffic flow of individuals interested in buying your products. As in previous years, Security will be provided on Thursday and Friday evenings after the Exhibit Hall is closed.

Vendor Deposit and Registration Policy:
Vendor payment along with a completed registration form will be required to hold all spaces. Spaces will be booked on a first come, first served basis. (See exhibitor Application for prices.)

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be in writing and postmarked before March 31, 2008 for consideration. Refunds will be at the sole discretion of the SC EMS Network, Inc. and only if we can reallocate the space reserved to another exhibitor. Cancellations thereafter will not be accepted; therefore, your vendor space and fees paid in advance will be forfeited to the SC EMS Network.

Hotel Reservations:
Hotel Reservations can be made by calling the Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center Hotel at 843-918-5000 or 1-800-325-3535. (The hotel would prefer people to use the direct, local number). To avoid disappointment, please book early.

Drayage Fees:
Upon receipt of your reservation, separate Exhibitor information from Displays Unlimited will be sent to your agency. This is the drayage company we use for booth construction. This company is currently used by some of the vendors for their pre-conference shipments. Displays Unlimited can be reached at (803) 253-8782 OR Fax: (803) 253-8788.

Drop Shipments:
Drop shipments are discouraged. The Hotel will refer you to a local Drayage company. PLEASE NOTE: Crated/bulk merchandise sent to the facility without prior approval will not be accepted. If you have further questions, please call the Myrtle Beach Convention Center at 800-537-1690 for pre-delivery specifications and instructions should you choose not to utilize the services of our contracted drayage company.

Unable to attend this year’s Symposium?
For a minimum of $175.00 we will insert (1) company flyer or brochure in each registration packet. (The committee would like to do this free of charge, but we are continually overwhelmed each year by the amount of literature we are asked to compile prior to the conference.)
