What's New for 2010?

The South Carolina EMS Network, Inc., is pleased to present the 2010 South Carolina Emergency Care Symposium. Instead of a mailing out a printed brochure this year, all of the conference information is on the web site and you can register for the conference or exhibit space by downloading and submitting the registration forms posted here. We are working on an online payment option and hope to have it in place very soon.

We are making some exciting changes in the format of the conference this year to provide greater value and access to Symposium events. Along with a more streamlined program, we’ll have a lunch in the exhibit area on Friday for full conference registrants and the Symposium awards ceremony on Saturday night will be free and open to all. Following the awards ceremony there will be a reception honoring the award winners where refreshments will be served. There are also a couple of other things we’re working on that will be announced a bit later. In addition to the changes, the 2010 Symposium will feature the return of many of the speakers and events you have enjoyed in the past including the Wine & Cheese Reception, the South Carolina Paramedic Championship and the personalized CEU certificates that made their debut last year.

April is a beautiful time to be at the beach and this year’s Symposium promises warm weather and the opportunity to hear and see the latest information in the EMS world. The Myrtle Beach Convention Center features a huge conference and exhibit area, and a "stadium-like" arena for the paramedic competition. The plush, yet affordable, Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center Hotel is connected directly to the convention center and is located just two blocks from the “Broadway at the Beach” complex and just two blocks from the Atlantic Ocean. Coastal Grande Mall, one of South Carolina’s newest and largest shopping complexes, is just 10 minutes away.
